One favourite thing about August is the Barrhead Parade! Another thing that made August fun was the Summer Olympics. It was fun to see the different kind of sports and then trying to do them ourselves. We even had a replica medal ceremony. Auntie Sonja sure was fun! She knelt down to be the same height as the girls, but they had to do just the same as Auntie Sonja.

| The medals had the Olympic rings and London 2012 written on them. |

| I love this picture. You can see that Middle just cannot wait for the parade to start. |

| Getting ready for the candy! |
 |
| Grandpa likes the parade, too! :) |
 |
| This was my favourite float. I don't know what it was for, I've forgotten. But look, they have real Holsteins on the float. Those are some amazing ladies! |
 |
| Look at that haul! |
 |
| So much fun! |

| Uncle Nathan with the cousins and their tonnes of candy after the parade! |
 |
| Middle went with Nathan, so we only had two girlies with us. One of our fav stores in Barrhead is the John Deere implement store. So we went and had lots of fun spending imaginary money. |

Leaving Barrhead on the way back to the city.
We sure can find fun things to do. We love the summer! Even if Youngest thinks it is 'too hot."
Have a great day!
